Our own Christmas miracle
I love to sing and dance. In my kitchen. With the kids. Using various kitchen tools from the "weapon drawer" as microphones. Today, I passed out the mics from the drawer - Jacob got a chop and stir. Wesley received an omelet turner. Carly got a soup spoon and I chose wooden spoon and then presented Ryan with a spatula while I turned up the volume to "Deck the Halls"
The dancing commenced. The music wasn't loud enough and Wes kicked it up a bit. And Ryan, as he always does, said, "I don't want this." And he put his spatula in the drawer.
NOW for the miracle part. He said, "I want this instead." And he got out a huge whisk. And laughed. As he danced. And sang. In the kitchen. With the rest of us.
For The First Time EVER.
