Bahamas Cruise

Ed, Vicki, Kelli and I went on a 5 day cruise to the Bahamas for Vicki's birthday gift.  Not from me, from her husband.  We left out of Charleston, SC, which is a beautiful town. We took a tour of a naval aircraft carrier the day before we left for Nassau  As always, we had a wonderful time together and made lots of great memories.  I was perfectly content to just sit and watched the beautiful water pass us by and the occasional school of dolphins playing.   Ed was an unbelievable good sport about having 2 extra women along on his cruise.  He always makes everyone feel welcome and loved.

Hostage Situation Going On

Kelli left something at the Granted event last night. Shaun and Andi took it home with them. Or so I thought. I found it this morning. It was where my silverware was when I went to bed last night. Along with a ransom note.
"We have your utensils. I may be drunk. Bring $5 and treats for Henry to get them back." Then I think there was some indecision on the gang's name until she (I recognize the scribble) decided on "Silent Intruder"
Looks like plastic forks and spoons until I get a treat for the dog.

Cruise to Alaska

Kelli and I took a cruise to Alaska.  It was a peaceful trip.  We flew to Seattle and left from there. We were on the ship for 8 days and had a great time.  I had a really fun time at the casino where I won almost $500 on a penny slot machine.  Not exactly sure how, but I did and the bells and whistles just kept ringing.  It was very exciting.

The scenery was beautiful. We took Mark's ashes and Kelli spread them over several ports in Alaska and Canada.  Our ship was the Eurodam through Holland America. Our room was a stateroom with couch, chair and table, as well as a balcony.  I loved the spaciousness of the room and although it was too cold to hang out on the balcony for long periods, it was nice to have it.
