Family Christmas

Check out the sign we are holding in our photos.  I bought two of these, and gave one away for a gift last year. And this one has been hanging on my wall through two Christmas seasons. Wesley sat down last night and within three minutes noticed the problem with it. Do you see it? Of course, I had to use it as a prop today.

Tipsy Bingo

We had great fun playing Bingo  Andi won the dancing a jig contest, even with her foot in a boot and on crutches. Even though we made an awesome table decoration, we did not win best table. We definitely should have!

A fun place to visit

Connie and Kathy went to Carly’s with me and we stopped in Marion, Illinois on the way home to check out the cool murals.

Love from Connie

Connie gifted me with a beautiful quilt that was made by her grandmother and given to her mom.  And now, it’s mine.

Weekend at KY Lake with the girls

Had a wonderful, relaxing time with friends at Ky Lake this weekend. There was so much laughter, and everyone had a fantastic time.  I'm glad we are making this an annual event.

TRCC Woman’s Retreat

We had a wonderful retreat at New Harmony this weekend.  I gave my testimony on living in God’s will.  Connie, Vicki, Gwen, Charlene and I sang a song about growing old and the ladies loved it.  We had great food, a wonderful craft and played late night bingo.  All the ladies loved our time away and are already talking about “next year.”

Vicki’s birthday

We celebrated Vicki’s birthday  with family, friends and a low country boil, followed by games and banana splits. It was a very good day, indeed.

Branson vacation with the girls

We had a wonderfully relaxing vacation in Branson.  The leaves were beautiful and our home on the lake was very peaceful.  We did a few touristy things.  We took a train ride, went through a drive through cave, did some shopping, went to The Dolly Parton Stampede and the Sight and Sound Theater, where we saw Noah.
