Sophie was awarded a scholarship that enabled her to take a 3 week all expense trip to England and Ireland. It was through the drama department and involved a lot of Shakespeare plays and activities.

What a fun day of celebrating with my crazy family!  So blessed they could all be here. 

Benjamin has grown so much this year. He towers over everyone else. Caden read the Christmas story to us and Mary and Joseph would have been proud of how he narrated their journey.  Amanda came with Ben and she is always a welcome addition. Christmas is always better when Tara comes “home” from Austria for her school vacation.  Wesley rode his motorcycle from Cape Girardeau to be here and he gifted me with my first ever 2,000 piece puzzle. Yikes! Mallory was here for her first time and she jumped right into the madness. 

It was a wonderful day filled with fun, family and food.  And laughter. So much laughter.

Sophie’s first play at Hanover

Susie and I just walked into the theater at Hanover to watch Sophie in her first play as a college kid. 

Before we even got to our seats, the director came up and asked me if I was

Sophie’s Mamaw. I said I was and he laughingly said, “I’ll pray for you. I know that’s a hard job.” 

She seems to be fitting in quite nicely.  

It was a radio version of “It’s a Wonderful Life” and they did an  excellent job. 

Hike at Clifty Falls

Today included a little afternoon hike with my beautiful granddaughters.
