A year ago today

I brought my dad to live in Boonville - a major life changing event. As you know, that had its ups and downs before my dad passed away in February. Today, in our house, we have yet another milestone event.

I have taken a part time job. When I say taken, I guess I should say, "took the reins over" on a part time job. I am going to take over Andi's PEERS job for the school year. Although she did 4 different schools, I am only going to do Boonville and Tecumseh. She just hated to see all of the hard work that has been put into the program the last few years go down the drain and has agreed to be my behind the scenes guide.

Though there will probably not be any funding for the program continuing past this school year, at least some kids will have the chance to participate in the program this year.

So the woman with six kids by five different men will be teaching abstinence. Isn't it ironic?
