Welcome Home

Camera! I missed ya. Ever hope something turns out good, but you really have no control over it, so all you can do is let it go and hope for the best.

That was me and my camera repair. There was no place around home that repaired cameras so I was left with no choice but to send it off and hope that the place I chose wasn't some fly by night shyster place just waiting to get hold of my camera before they folded and took off to Bermuda.

I chose Precision Camera I filled out a form on-line and told them my tale of woe and they gave me an estimate for fixing it. Left with no choice, I took my chances, packed my camera up and shipped it off to Connecticut. Then I waited.

My UPS tracking number showed it was delivered, but their website said they had no record of it. So I called -- where the nice lady told me it took 24 hours to get in the system. Sure enough, next day, there it was - camera received. The next day, it showed "In repair."

I waited - half expecting every phone call to be precision camera telling me that there was much more wrong than I had told them and my price would be triple the estimate. No such call came.

A few days after it went into repair, it was shipped back home to me and the website updated to reflect that, including giving me a tracking number. It was repaired perfectly for the very reasonable price, which included shipping, that they had originally quoted me.

So if you are ever in need of a camera repair, I would wholeheartedly recommend this company.
