Maybe someday I'll tell him
Ever since Keegan started walking, if I had something to feed him and he wasn't in his chair, I would hold his hand when I fed him. That way, I could wipe his mouth off if need be before he took off again.
It cracks me up that he just does this automatically now. I was feeding him oats this morning as he was playing in the kitchen and every time he came back for a bite, the first thing he would do would be slip his hand into mine. And it had to be turned a certain way each time.
So maybe someday I'll tell him that's not necessary, but I doubt it. He'll figure it out soon enough all on his own.
