She could be right

Sophie and Keegan are spending the night with me tonight. Lately, I've been making Sophie use her manners - which I know she has - to get things instead of just saying, "I want....."

Tonight she asked for gum, using all of her good manners and I told her she could have some in just a minute. At that point, she opened a book on my desk and pointing with her finger, while accenting word by word - "read" to me what it said in her imagination.

"You...can't...say...no...to.... me... if... I... use... my... manners."
