Back in the old days

when I had that "other" washer, I washed Bill's week worth of work clothes in 2 loads. I had told myself that this would be THE test, because I knew exactly what would be in the washer.

Well, as the owner of the workhorse washer, today I put his 5 pair of work jeans, 5 tee shirts and 2 long sleeve work shirts in that cavernous cylinder. It wasn't full. So I went back to the bedroom and gathered up a pair of sweat pants and 2 long sleeve shirts and added those. Still -- not full. I went to my bathroom and got a large bath towel and a hand towel and added those.

Still -- not full but there was nothing in the house left that wasn't washed.
When I put all of it into the dryer and turned it on - the timer went to 40 minutes. No doubt about it. I love my new toys.
