So much to not blog about

Both yesterday and today were consumed by schooling and CASA work. That's it. Last night six of the ladies from our group at church went to Grace House and met the ladies who are living there. We had a wonderful visit with them and I'm sure we will be going back.

It was sad to hear them tell the ages of their children - some very young kids who are doing without their moms for 18 months while their moms get their lives straightened out.

Don't bother talking about how they will be a much better parent later - they know that in their minds, but it doesn't make their hearts hurt any less. The ladies will be coming to our church next month for a dinner and then they will be presented with a check from the money we raised selling Krispy Kreme cards.

Speaking of which -- the group has 10 left to sell. Any takers?
