Almost done
Tomorrow is the last day of Disney. Today, Billski took the kids to a water park and they all had an absolute blast. Tomorrow, they will pack up, go to Epcot for awhile and head home. They are stopping somewhere along the way to spend the night and will be home on Sunday -- ready to show us the hundreds of photos Bill has taken.
On the home front today, it was Chuck E. Cheese Day. Whoopee!!! When the boys were making their list of things to do, Big Guy was so kind as to prompt them with a friendly, "Hey guys, don't you want to go to Chuck E. Cheese?" Of course there were loud screams as they wrote that on their list. Big Guy smiled gleefully at me, his mission accomplished.
Not quite, grasshopper. You have much to learn from the master. I watched the boys write Chuck E. Cheese on their list and the words seemed to turn into "hell on earth" right before my eyes. So I asked in my most innocent voice, "Hey guys, (mimicking young Grasshopper), don't you want to go to Chuck E. Cheese........................with a police officer?"
Oh, the screams grew louder as they asked how to spell officer so that they could write it down on their wish list of things to do. I told them how to spell officer while feeling something like little imaginary daggers going into my head.
So today, on his day off, Young Grasshopper the Police Officer, along with his lovely assistant, Andi, took Wes and Ryan to Chuck E. Cheese's. Just to play the games though. Afterwards, we met at Red Lobster for a nice dinner, then my dad and I brought Sophie back home and they took the boys to Penneys where they rode the escalator 10 times.
I was excused from the days activities for the most part since I am sitting at home, leg elevated and being good. That shot has helped a lot already. Yesterday, there was so much swelling on the back of my leg at my knee, that my leg wouldn't even straighten out. That has about gone so I'm feeling really positive about how quickly my knee is going to feel great.
