The Choices

The kids have made their choices of fun things they want to do. Looks like a wide variety of choices.

Ryan chose going on a train ride at French Lick - no surprise there. He loves trains. He also decided to go to the Children's Museum in Evansville. Andi and Big Guy took him there for his birthday and he must have really enjoyed it to want to go back so soon.

Wesley chose to go to the zoo and putt-putt for one day and for his second day he chose to go to a movie and bowling. The choice was originally an IMAX movie, but he didn't want to go to the big screen, so just a regular movie was offered instead. Carly decided to go to the IMAX and bowling one day and then Andi and Big Guy are going to take her to try ice skating sometime. I tend to delegate anything that might result in broken bones for me to their willing youthful bodies.Jacob is going on the Wild Cave tour, which involves crawling through mud and muck. No surprise there - he's been waiting to be old enough to go for several years.

Pappaw and I took Andi and Zac on it years ago with a bunch of their friends. We had a blast. Technically, Jacob went along too because I was pregnant with him although I didn't know it at the time. This time, Big Guy is taking him.

Jacob also chose the zoo & putt-putt, and he wants to take Sophie along on that day, so that should be an adventure - Sophie at a golf course.

Each day out also includes lunch at their choice of restaurant and somebody must be influencing these kids because I heard the word, Longhorn's over and over again yesterday. Ahh, it's going to be a good year.

Wesley bought Ryan this little train at the Dollar Store and the steady click clack of the train has been heard for over an hour already this morning.
