A letter from the Bolline Family

Psalm 46 "God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging."

Jude 1:24-25 “To him who is able to keep you from falling and to present you before his glorious presence without fault and with great joy— to the only God our Savior be glory, majesty, power and authority, through Jesus Christ our Lord, before all ages, now and forevermore! Amen.”

Dear Friends,
In case you haven’t heard or had a chance to check our blog in a while, we joyfully announce that after 76 & 79 days respectively, Andrew & Adam, our sweet baby boys have been released from the NICU and are now finally at home with us. Praise the Lord!!

If you’ve been following their story you probably know what a great miracle this is after our children were born at less than 26 out of 40 weeks gestation and have struggled through many medical challenges including weeks on the respirator, pulmonary hemorrhage, PDA surgeries, pneumonia, infections, and brain hemorrhages to name a few. But our great Lord has provided for and sustained them and allowed them to grow and survive all these things.

Andrew & Adam both require some home oxygen support, have very fragile immune systems, and some eye issues that will continue to be followed by specialists. Andrew, who had a severe head bleed, will also be followed by a neurologist but at this point everyone is very pleased with his progress and we Praise God that his head bleed has resolved to a minimal-grade bleed at this time.

We continue to pray that the Lord will protect them at home from infections that could land them back in the hospital, that their reflux issues would improve, that their eyes would heal completely, that they would reach all their developmental milestones on time (adjusted 3 months), and that they would not suffer any long term problems from their prematurity.

We know that many of you are eager to meet the boys and we are eager to show them off to you but upon the recommendation of our extensive medical team, we are restricting the boys' visitors to the adult members of our immediate families until at least the end of Flu & RSV seasons and until the boys are no longer requiring oxygen assistance. Thank you SO much for understanding and for helping to make the boys' health our number 1 priority =-).

Kenny & I have been so deeply touched by the outpouring of prayers and encouragement to us and for our precious sons during the last 2 1/2 months and we want everyone to know how much we appreciate you. “Thank You” just does not do justice to how much this has all meant to us. It was your support that always came exactly when we needed it most along with our Lord’s great mercy that helped us through some very difficult days. We truly mean it when we say that we are eternally grateful for taking Andrew & Adam before our Heavenly Father.

We especially want to thank our families for being so wonderful, supportive, and loving, always willing to help out when we needed them. We also want to thank our pastor Wade and his wife Marian for their continuous encouragement, counsel, and prayers.

Glory be to God!! He truly is able to do more than all we ask or imagine!

Grace & Peace,
Lindsey, Kenny, Andrew & Adam Bolline

Ephesians 2:4-9 “But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved. And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus. For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast.”
