Just a peaceful sort of day

Carly was gone to a slumber party last night and stayed at her friend's to play today. This morning Bill took Wes and Ryan fishing where Ryan came back to report, "even though we weren't quiet, we still caught fish!" So I'm sure he sees no reason to be quiet during fishing (or any other time for that matter.) They all had a good time and Bill said they had lots of fun.

Jacob stayed with me and we worked on the cabinets for church for a bit this morning and then Andi, Big Guy, Jacob and I went to a flea market.

There we bought all sorts of bargains. Caramel corn and hot candied roasted pecans for Andi & Big Guy. Chocolate covered raisins for me, Gummy worms for the kids. We are serious shoppers. Then, Jacob came upon the mother of all bargains and so we spent a dollar and got this mammoth bowl (5 pounds) of Whopper malted eggs left from Easter. A quick taste test proved they are still wonderfully fresh.

After our extensive shopping spree, we went down the street to a little ice cream/hamburger joint that has been in business over 50 years, Zesto. No matter what time of day or night you go, you are standing in line on the sidewalk. Andi had never been here before - still not sure how I neglected that area of her life.

Big Guy sat there saying, "I can't believe we are eating at Zesto." Not Andi -- she loves Zesto. She has decided she is a Zesto kind of girl. Greasy burgers, an abundance of fries served in a cup and soft serve chocolate ice cream all made for a very happy pregnant woman.

Jacob and I made one final stop to buy Bill a new Bunn coffeemaker and then we car danced our way on home to listen to all the fish tales.
