A quick update

We have been gone camping for the last few days. Everyone had a good time. Several of our friends came out to let their kids play and roast some hot dogs. That always make camping more fun. The kids had a good time hiking and biking but are looking forward to the lake being open when we go next time.

This is our week off from school, so I am going to be working on some projects for church and Thursday we are going to go visit my friend, Jamie and hopefully a new friend who has just joined our Yahoo homeschool group, Ariane also. I'm really excited about that. I think we will have a lot of fun together. 12 kids under 8, 3 moms - bet you wish you were joining us!

Church was great today. I always enjoy going to church. That hasn't always been the case at all churches I've attended, so that is nice to be able to write that. After church, we had a church picnic and the men played football (or keep away) with the younger boys. I saw a girl or two in there too. Our preacher has 3 young boys who keep him hopping and make for some interesting stories. Today, the youngest one (3) added to his list of stories to look back on when someone noticed him standing out in the field where the kids were playing, peeing for all the church to see. And we did. I think I heard the pastor blame it the baby's grandfather as he ran by - but I can't be sure.
