Barry Manilow

Last night, Cathy, Kelli, Gwen and I went to see Barry Manilow.  It was something I've wanted to do since I was a teenager.  We bought the cheapest seats available and even though we were going to be as far away from the stage, we knew the music would fill the stadium and we would just soak it in.

However, when we got there, we were told to go see "The man with the black bag."  Okee doke. So off we went and weren't we surprised to find our tickets being exchanged because the section we had purchased was being blocked off.  So instead of the nosebleed section, we were sitting about 100 feet from Barry.

It was amazing.    When he danced, his age showed, but when he sang loud and strong and his voice never waivered.  The whole crowd sang along because after all, he writes the songs that makes the whole world sing.
