I Knew I Wasn't Crazy
It was about 36 hours after my hardware was removed that I heard a large popping sound, felt horrid pain and cried like a baby muttering, "Something's not right." I had, in fact, rebroke my collar bone. I wasn't doing anything exciting. I was going to the bathroom in the middle of the night when it happened. My scream woke both Jacob and Billski.
In the 9 days since then, it has hurt worse each day. Today, an x-ray confirmed what I had been saying for days. Something was indeed not right. The bone had snapped where the original break was. I go to the surgeon in the morning to see what happens next, but I'm pretty much right back where I was 4 months ago.
Discouraging, to say the least.
