How do I possibly say thank you
I asked for prayer for Andi ~~ and I got it. From all over the world. Each day I would have emails from people I've never heard of...just letting me know they were taking the time to pray for my daughter. People from Canada, Hong Kong, New Zealand and even a little village in Africa. She was put on prayer list after prayer list all over this country.
Prayer lists of people who were friends and those of people who were in no way connected to my family whatsoever. But they took the time to pray for Andi. And to ask others to pray.
I would sign into my Facebook account and notice that not one or two but many of my friends were posting Andi's need for prayer on their pages. And posting her daily updates. And the comments on their pages assured me that even more people were praying.
When I stopped to really think about how many people were praying for her, I knew it was literally thousands of people.
Then there were the suggestions of what could be wrong with her. There were many things we had never heard of, but we took every one of them and researched it, ready to question the doctor about them should she not improve. Grateful for the caring people who took the time to share their knowledge with us when we felt helpless ourselves.
And what about all those prayers? They've been heard and answered. Andi is feeling great today. Andi's headache is gone and her speech is normal most of the time. She is sitting in the sunshine watching her kids play in the yard. Hopefully, she will continue to feel well this weekend and will return to work on Monday.
Over the years of blogging, I've asked for prayer for many things and without fail, God's people pray. So once again, I thank you for lifting my daughter's need to God and laying them at His feet. And thank you, Lord, for answering the prayers of your people.
