Sense of Humor...........check

Andi modified her visitors welcome sign a bit. She is getting the third dose of the medicine for migraines this afternoon. The first one didn't do much of anything except make her vomit. The second one made her vomit as well, but she did seem to get some relief from her headache temporarily. We are praying the third one takes the headache away for good. Even if she does have to puke again.

Once that is done they gave her the choice to have another consult with a different neurologist or to go home. She chose home. So she will be coming home later today and for now has to have someone with her around the clock as she is still very dizzy and unsteady.

Tentatively the plan is for speech therapy only and following up with the neurologist. There is discussion about redoing some of the tests in a few weeks, but I don't know if she will do that or not. Since they have ruled out all the major things for the moment, the focus has switched from what's going on to time to get better. There are a few tests that were done that we won't have the results back for 2 weeks, so that is just a wait and see thing.

So for now - we wait, work on short one syllable words and sounds and as Sophie says, "Be Momma's babysitter."
