Wrapped in the love of Jesus
At the beginning of church today, our family was called forward to have a time of prayer for Ryan. We were also presented with a blanket to send to him. A fleece blanket with tied knots. Not only will Ryan love the fish pattern that they chose but when I tell him the story behind it, he is going to feel so loved.
Every single knot was tied by a different person in our church, who prayed for Ryan as they tied it. It's a big blanket, so that's a lot of prayers. If he feels half the love when he is wrapped in it that we felt when we were given it, he is going to know the love of God through God's people at New Life Church.
It was very humbling and it touched my heart and once again, I thank God for leading us to a church where the love of God is shown so clearly to others.
