Just a tad confused

Over the years, the kids in our family have had some interesting turns on Christian songs. As a young child, my nephew, Jeremy, sang his own version of Victory in Jesus. It included the substitute for the line, "He sought me and bought me and...plunged me to victory." When Jeremy sang it was, "He socked me and bopped me and punched me to victory." Not quite as nice, but some people need that sort of wake up call I suppose. Jeremy is now a minister, so who am I to judge?

Ryan, when he was small was a huge Toy Story fan. He loved all things Woody. He changed the words to the praise song which included the line, "Worthy is the Lamb." His version, which he sang with gusto proclaimed, "Woody is the Man!"

Yesterday, however, I think Sophie topped them all. Clearly letting everyone know her dad is a cop, she was singing, "Oh, God, you are my God." (good so far, but then the stray)....."and I'll forever tase you." Then she bowed her head and concluded with a hearty Hallelujah.
