IF, when driving to Kokomo, you get tired in Terre Haute and think you should get out of the car awhile, do something -- anything -- anything at all -- besides going into the Fiesta Salon by the Crazy Buffet and let Tara cut your hair.

Telling her, "Thin it out a bit and cut it out around my ears" translates in her brain into something that she must call the "Post chemo" cut. There will be NO pictures made to remember this haircut, but I will accept offers of borrowed hats and bandanas.

And perhaps some ear muffs to take to Alaska.
