Today is my 15th wedding anniversary

and when I walked into the kitchen at 6 am to slip on my shoes and go walking, a bag and card awaited on my desk. I must admit it was with great trepidation that I walked over to it -- truthfully, dreading what I knew was inside it based on years past.

Every year for as long as I can remember special occasions always entail candy from Bill. Generally, it is a one pound box each of caramels and English toffee from Lib's Candy. My heart skips a beat just thinking about it -- or maybe that's my heart skipping a beat trying to pump blood past all the built up cholesterol - who knows.

Anyway, I lifted the bag to gage the weight. Practically nothing. Now, my interest was peaked and as I pulled back the tissue paper and found no candy. None at all. Not even a fat free lemon drop.

Instead, I found a really cool pedometer, an Aqua Band, which is a reusable water cooling band and a memory card for my new phone, so that I can load and listen to music while I walk.

It's one of the coolest gifts I've ever gotten.
