Some people might think
this Mother's Day note comes from guilt since Bill is gone to a fishing tourney for second Mother's Day in a row. But they would be wrong. He's just that nice to me.
My current phone plan expires in 2 days and when it does, my phone will be gone. He's been after me to get a new one for months because my screen is broken and it doesn't ring half the time, but I wouldn't replace it because I'm too cheap frugal at times. Times like this. He has been pushing me to get one that does everything but tie my shoes. I'll admit the GPS thing was cool, but really, I don't travel that often and I have a printer, so I can print directions. Besides, the phone company wants an arm and a leg for some of those phones and I haven't seen any that I think are worth that.
As it is Mother's Day, then I will say Happy Mother's day to my own mom, who is cruising around Alaska today -- and to Andi, who is also "celebrating" solo, since Bill's fishing partner in the tourney is Big Guy.
Lastly, I wish a happy Mother's Day to the biological mothers of Wesley, Carly and Ryan. Your unselfish decision to allow your children to be adopted has enriched our family more than you could ever have imagined. I thank you - and pray you have a blessed day - at peace with that decision.
