Notice the newest ticker

I am going to be walking in the Diabetes Walk. I hope to raise $300.00 for my team. One of the main reasons I am trying to lose weight is to hopefully avoid getting diabetes. My dad had diabetes and Bill's dad had severe diabetes - to the point of kidney dialysis - before he died.

The walk isn't until October, but I like to get a head start on things. This way if you wanted to donate a small amount several times between now and then, you would have the time to do that.

I have joined, Team Gumby - a team formed in honor of my friend, Misty's son. Jonathan was only 8 years old when he died suddenly from undiagnosed diabetes several years ago.
