How Ryan spent his spring break

Ryan has a new love in his life - fishing. He fished every day of spring break - some days -- all day long. He has made many friends at the park where he fishes --- most of them retirees.

These guys have let Ryan reel in their fish for them, have waded into the lake to retrieve his line for him and have generally taken him under their wing to teach him the fine art of fishing.

Bill has taken Ryan several times this week, too. Saturday, he took Ryan to Gander Mountain where Ryan got a new pole, a tackle box all his own and lots of fishing tackle. After going out for lunch, they stopped on the way home to try it all out and Ryan caught this beauty.

I wish I could have seen his smile behind the fish, because I know it was huge. So after three sons who were ho-hum about fishing, it seems Ryan will turn out to be Billski's best fishing buddy of all time. They are looking forward to lots of good times this summer.
