Lookback at disaster
Not a natural disaster - a man made one. Or in this particular case, a woman made one. That woman being me. If you've been reading my blog for a couple of years, then you will remember this horrible day where I tried to be crafty and failed. Miserably. Humongously. Horribly. Where my pride went before the explosions.
Yesterday though, my life got a bit better when my friend, Monica, dropped off a birthday gift that she had made for me. A large spa bag that she had made. It has segments along the entire 28" length and is encased in a removable flannel sleeve. I had no idea she made these to sell. I'll be buying some for gifts.
Just since I got mine last night, I've probably used it 5 times. It is great for wrapping around my arm or draping over my shoulder. She's making me another one to have after my surgery to put in the freezer, so I can alternate hot and cold. Knowing I have this to come home to instead of a large bulky heating pad just makes me smile.
