How school is going

In a word -- good. Jacob, Carly & Wesley took their second tests yesterday afternoon and everyone did fine. Jacob even got a 94% on his spelling! My friend, Teresa, who has been my homeschooling buddy for years came across an idea that we are trying for Jacob. If you have a kid who has a hard time spelling, you might check it out here. It's weird, but now I understand why kids in the national spelling bees are always looking toward the ceiling.

Ryan is doing fine in school. He is not fond of the early morning start time and hates it when they actually have homework. All in all though, he likes it OK and school around here is much more peaceful.

Ryan has also started speech therapy at school and Wesley is going to be going for an evaluation next month. All in all, things are running rather smoothly.
