95 hours and 11 minutes until

my first weigh in at Weight Watchers. Not that I'm counting or anything. Or calling my fellow doomed friends with hourly updates as to how long it is until life as we know it changes forever. There are 15 of us from church who are forming our own group. It should be fun if nothing else.

So I am preparing myself mentally and physically. The mental part is hard - but the physical part is great. I'm gathering all of my favorites and having them one last time.

Today I had a Cherry Coke from Sonic, a piece of fried chicken and baked beans from Grandys, a Meat Lovers pizza and some hot wings from Pizza Hut. I could do without the pizza since I'm having my favorite pizza Saturday night, but this is Andi's favorite and since she is joining too, I'm supporting her in her cause -- I'm a good friend that way.

I also brought home some salsa from my favorite Mexican place and chicken salad from my favorite "chicken salad gettin' place." Plus, Andi bought me some of that delicious vanilla taffy at Cracker Barrel yesterday. Oh, yeah -- and we brought home 2 dozen Krispy Kreme donuts. I figure the kids will get those though. 8 kids can go through that in a heartbeat.

Jacob, who is joining WW by osmosis wants to go to Red Lobster on Saturday, so he, Sherie and I will be headed there for lunch. Heidi, another doomed friend and I are heading to Longhorn tomorrow so that we can both enjoy an order of Wild West Shrimp. That would be an order each - no sharing with our future on the line.

I'm still open for 2 meals on Sunday and breakfast and lunch on Monday. I need to work a Chinese buffet in somewhere between now and Monday night, so girls, let me know and I'll pencil you in.
