I promise I'm not making this up.
Andi and I went to take a First Aid class tonight at the Red Cross. On page 3 of the new booklet for First Aid/CPR, there is an instruction to "Avoid applying cosmetics or lip balm when giving first aid."
OK - who will admit to being the person who in the midst of giving CPR or First Aid suddenly had the need to stop everything and go apply a fresh layer of mascara? Or maybe you know someone who realized that their lips were a bit dry on the 5th round of mouth to mouth and they stopped for a little chapstick.
They don't just include that without reason -- somebody, somewhere, has done it. Frankly, just out of curiousity, I'd like to know who it was.
