Praising God for this email from Amy

God is good ---- now here's the email.

I received a phone call yesterday at work from Brooke who is Dr. Ahmed's nurse. He is the oncologist. She said "Amy, do you have a minute? Dr. Ahmed would like to talk to you." Generally this is not good.

Dr. Ahmed informed me that my Onco Type test had returned early (Thank You God!) It showed that my cancer is very non aggressive and I would NOT benefit from chemotherapy! This is a Great thing!

He said that if I take Tamoxifen for 5 years my chance of recurrence would be 3% over a 10 year period. Prior to this test we were looking at 15% over a 5 year period.

So the roller coaster ride has come to an end. I will not be starting chemo on Thursday. Instead I will be getting my hair colored since it is now an atrocious black. Thanks to all of you for your wonderful support but mostly Thanks be to God.
