Intimidated no more

Remember this? Well, I'm here to tell you, I have never dreamed about a project before, but I have dreamed about this table several times. Then I wake up and I just have a very clear idea of what I want to do.

Here's my table top -- sitting on top of one of my freezers, which also seems to double as a painting station. After putting together the wood and sanding it, I routed the edges and burned it a blow torch before staining it and putting polyurethane on it. Yes, I meant for it to have some dark spots. Adds character.

The frame and drawer are done also. I hope to paint those this afternoon and finish the whole thing by Wednesday.

Then.........I'm gonna make some more tables.
