Cooking class is gonna get better

because we received notification on Thursday that a portion of a grant we had applied for was approved. Hope Central is going to be given the money to buy a new stove and pay for all the necessary electrical work to install it.


I'm very excited about this blessing and all of the possibilities it opens. We also received money to buy new freezers for the food pantry. That is wonderful news.


Also, earlier this week we received notification that another grant we applied for has been approved. We don't know for how much because it is going to be announced when the media is present.


Of course this could be because they are giving out a lot of little grants or it could be because they are giving out some big ones and we are getting a lot of buckos. We have to wait till the 16th to find out, so in the meantime we dream and scheme.

The volunteers who work at Hope Central have already made a difference in a lot of lives as it is quickly turning into a valuable resource for our community.
