Blackmail was involved

I'll admit it. In order to get Jacob to agree to let me blog this it cost me dearly. Brown sugar cinnamon toast with extra cinnamon. That's the price I had to pay to be able to relive this moment.

That was before he actually saw the video - after he saw it, he wasn't so sure. Finally, I got this note on my desk. So he got what he wanted and I got what I wanted.

Today the kids and I were going to Illinois to buy some lumber and Jacob was sitting up front beside me. We were all singing at the top of our lungs and I notice a particular steady rhythm out the corner of my eye. I thought to myself, "Man, he is really getting with it." No. Not so much. Instead,

he was giving CPR to a Nerf football. And doing quite a convincing job of it. This was not a moment I wanted to forget, so I paid the price this evening and Jacob agreed to once again show you what I live with and why I love having my kids home with me. I would hate to miss this stuff. Although he was laughing during this video, today he was as serious as any ER doc trying to save a football.
