Sometimes it's good and sometimes.....
not so much. In an effort to have interesting cooking classes my family has been subjected to some recipes that they normally would not ever have experienced - and sometimes thankfully.
Today, Andi and Sherie were the guest judges guinea pigs for soup that we are making Tuesday night. It is a shrimp creole with rice and peppers and we all agreed that it was tasty, however, they hold nothing back in their suggestions to make it better. I like that about those gals.
This evening Bill got to taste the soup, along with a couple of sandwiches. One was a turkey and cheese sandwich that also had spinach and cranberries in it. He wasn't crazy about the berries, but said the rest was great. It was the first time I had ever served him spinach in 14 years of marriage.
The other was a ham & cheese, only with a secret sauce that made the whole thing yummy goodness.
Bill was enjoying dinner even though I had just told him that the handy little Media Net he had been having so much fun playing with during his lunch hour at work wasn't free after all. The first cell phone bill for his new phone came today and let's just say his midnight habit of checking how the Colts or the Dodgers did are done.
We've about worked our way through the Tennessee Nutter Butters and although everyone likes them, I don't think they will ever grace the house again.
