Vacation - Day One

We made the 300 mile trip today with the help of Hank the Cowdog and Junie B. Jones books on tapes. Not a single fight or harsh word.
Once we checked in, Bill took the kids swimming while I got our things organized.
We headed out to check out the area and found a go-cart track. Wes, ever the cautious child, could not be convinced to ride. Ryan will probably never ride again if we are to believe what he had to say about his adventure. Click on the pictures to enlarge them and see the terror on his face. I'm sure his fingers were cramped up from hanging on for dear life.
think the other kids would drive till they dropped...although I think the go cart would fall apart quickly as many times as Carly bounced it off the wall.
We ate dinner tonight at Cheeburger, Cheeburger where Jacob downed a burger of sufficient weight to get to wear the cheeseburger hat and get his picture made for the Wall of Fame.
We just had a peaceful evening playing games and will probably get to bed early.
