Mississippi Sin Dip (no idea why)

1 loaf french bread

8 oz. container of french onion dip

4 oz. can green chiles, drained

1 package of bacon bits

2 cups grated cheddar cheese

8 oz. package of cream cheese, softened

Cut out top of french bread and scoop out insides. Mix all other ingredients together in a large bowl. Put the dip inside the loaf of french bread and put the top of bread back on. Wrap the whole thing in foil and bake 1 hour at 350.

Bill loved this served with Fritos Scoops.

Andi loved it but was rather intent on eating another round of the Apple Dumplings she made last night.

Sherie loved it and was going to change the bacon bits to tiny shrimp. Then she started talking about using Hawaiian bread and chunking up and toasting the insides for scoopers. She started coming up with all sorts of ways to serve this dip and her eyes took on a glassy look I haven't seen since she finally decided on a paint color for her showroom . I'm guessing if you are a cheese lover, which I am not, this seems to be the dip for you.

Now, it's important to note that I did not make this recipe according to this recipe. I just tossed all the ingredients in a pan and heated it very low. So if it was as yummy as they said just preparing it on the stove, I can imagine it would be much better done correctly!
