Well, I thought it had moved
but turns out I was wrong. I saw Ryan's x-ray early Sunday morning and the technician said she thought it had moved a couple of inches. Turns out there could be a reason that they normally say, "I just take the pictures, the doctor will read them."
I had made up my mind that even if it took a long time, we would not have the colonoscopy because I can be a patient person - even when digging through poop on an extremely regular basis.
However, according to our doctor, the Peso is still stuck, stuck, stuck as they say in A Christmas Story and he doesn't think it will come out on its own. Our family doctor's nurse just called and said she spent the the entire afternoon yesterday looking for a gastroenterologist who would take Ryan as a patient, but nobody will take anyone under 17. He needs to see a pediatric specialist.
There is one, who comes from Indianapolis once a month. They will be here next week, but he is booked. They have contacted him, though to see if he will take Ryan next week anyway.
So we wait. and watch. and pray.
