Peek #6 ...71-80

Today I became a Tastefully Simple consultant. The hope was that Andi could do this and be a stay at home mom. The reality was that they are not in a position at this time to take that chance, so we now have a plan. I will be the consultant, build up a fabulous business and then "retire" and she can take it over -- and stay home. If anyone wants to host a party or order any of these fantastic goodies to help us achieve this goal, just let me know. I am officially known as Consultant 0064414, but you can just call me 006.

About 90% of movies on the Lifetime channel annoy me to no end, however, I like about 90% of movies on the Hallmark channel.

I'm going to use part of my riches from my new job to take a family vacation that includes flying somewhere on a big plane. All of the little kids want to fly on a plane.

I HATE flying on planes - big or small, single engine or 20. It doesn't matter, I hate them all.

I love my kids enough to want to let them fly on a plane....but I'm secretly hoping that by the time I've saved enough for the event, they will have changed their minds and want to take a train ride somewhere instead.

I like to shop online better than in stores. Less crowds, less traffic and much easier overall.

I've only ever bought one thing off of a TV commercial. One day I purchased the Ronco Roaster from QVC. It was a great big ol' bitter disappointment, both in cooking and in ease of cleaning. I returned it for a full refund.

I once returned french fries that I got at a drive thru four days after they were served to me. I think that is the plan of some fast food restaurants - to give the cold fries to the poor schlump in the car because they won't realize it till they drive away. I told the woman when I returned them, they weren't any colder then than when I paid good money for them. I would have returned them at the time of purchase, but I was running late.

I hate being late. Being prompt is high on my list of good qualities in a person.

I only like hot french fries - not warm ones and certainly not cold ones.
