Easter Pictures
We had a wonderful Easter around here and it wasn't until I was getting ready to post these pictures that I realized I had neglected to take any of Zac and Andie today. I can always get a picture of Big Guy, but not so with them. Sophie wore the dress today that Nana and Pappaw bought for her the day we went for the ultrasound that showed she was in fact, a she and not a he.
She looked adorable. I couldn't get her to sit up straight for a picture because she is perpetually in the "I'm going to take off crawling any second now" pose.
After a delicious dinner this evening, we had an indoor egg hunt (with color coded eggs) and celebrated both Jacob's birthday and Zac's - which is next week.
It's hard to believe that Jacob turned 10 today. Seems like he was just born. Time sure flies when you're having fun and I must have been having a blast because this decade has gone by in an instant. If you get a chance, you can read my thoughts on Jacob's birthday from last year. They haven't changed, except he is more tender hearted and a bit more mischievious. The previous post explains quite a bit about how God used Jacob to make us the family we are now.
The pinatas are still drying and they may paint those tomorrow evening - when they aren't feeling major sympathy for me. I have scheduled a "pity mom" day for tomorrow and so I will be in the recliner being waited on hand and foot. I really don't get to have those too often, so I had them practice saying "What can I do for you, Momma?" for a bit this evening. Can't have them forgetting their lines now, can I?

The kids now have a bit over 50 dollars in their Smile Train jar. One fifth of their goal to change a child's life forever has been met.
Updated Monday morning when Jacob added the money that was in the golden egg he found during the egg hunt. Now we have another 5 bucks in our Smile Train jar.
