Boy Scouts Badge

The other day Jacob was doing some work for a Scholar Boy Scout badge. One of the requirements was to ask your parent and 5 other adults what they liked best about your school and what they thought needed improvement. Then he had to decide which answer he liked the best. He got some interesting answers including one from a public school teacher which was "one on one attention" as the best thing.

His favorite reasons for liking his school were that he could learn about whatever he wanted, it was very flexible and there was no cussing in the hallways and nobody trying to get him to use drugs.

He chose more science experiments as the best way to improve -- which works for me since that was the thing I mentioned as the best way to improve. It's good to be on the same page as 1/4 of your students right off the bat.
