And for my final trick
After we finished school today, I was going to bake some cheesecakes. I had called Andi earlier in the day to borrow her pan so that I could make an extra one. Instead, she brought me one of my Christmas gifts - a set of three new springform pans identical to the ones I have! I was so excited.
So I ended up making 7 cheesecakes today for gifts and for our Christmas dinner -- 3 pineapple, 3 apple and one strawberry. The strawberry one was for this evening, and it was going to be finished off with a yummy strawberry puree squirted across it in such a fashion as to make everyone exclaim, "Oh, isn't that pretty!"
The puree was yummy indeed. So yummy in fact, that I thought I would turn the bottle upside down and get a little squirt right into my mouth. Yep, you know where this story is going don't you? Right down disaster alley.
Immediately upon turning the bottle upside down, I got to experience the feel of sweet strawberry puree going down the front of my apron, soaking through my shirt and pooling in my bra. Nothing like it on earth, my friend.
Andi, little Jacob and I all burst out laughing and then we made some pictures of me in various poses depicting scenes from bad horror movies, but in the end, this picture of me re-creating this memorable cheesecake moment made the blog.
The cheesecake though - that was still yummy and as for my shirt...."Oh, isn't that pretty!"
