Now I'm not saying

that my new camera has a better zoom than my old one. I'll let you decide. The first picture was made with my old camera. It was taken as I was sitting in my desk chair in the kitchen. Ignore the mess on the counter. I was baking and getting stuff ready for the picnic. No editing of any kind was done on the picture. (or else you wouldn't be seeing the mess).

The next picture was taken sitting in the same chair with the same conditions - no editing of any kind.

Yes, those are the buttons on my microwave. I have a feeling once I figure this thing out, I'm gonna love my new camera.

I will write about the picnic tomorrow and post some pictures, but for now I'll just post this one of Sophie - enjoying new things with her usual attitude.
