Surprise!
What's better than a Pampered Chef party? I know you are thinking, "just about anything." I'm with you - so if you have to have a Pampered Chef party, why not have one without a dealer present, make great homemade salsa and fajitas out by the pool and just for good measure turn it into a surprise baby shower for the girl who did NOT want a shower.
Now that's a fun time. Here is our unsuspecting guest of honor arriving for the Pampered Chef party - carrying her swimsuit and totally clueless to the ulterior motive of the gathering. This picture was snapped as Surprise was yelled out. Everyone had a great time. We had a short shower with none of the shower games Andi hates to play, had a short pampered Chef demonstration via the salsa making, ate a lot of yummy food, swam a bit and then sat around for several more hours, just relaxing and enjoying the cool evening weather with most of Andi's best friends - who just happen to most of my good friends too.
I look at the picture below of the group of our friends and it is amazing to me that this group consists of women still in their teens, some in the 20s, 30s and even 40s. One is single, one engaged, the rest are married. Some have children, some don't. Some have preschoolers, some have teens and others have college age children or even older. Yet this group of women can get together, have a blast and never notice any of these differences in each other. They all love God and each other and that is a great blessing to us - to be able to have such a variety of really good, trustworthy, loyal friends.
So if you ever find yourself having to host a Pampered Chef Party, THIS is the way to go.
Many thanks go to my best friend, Vicki, (far left) for opening her home and heart to Andi and Sophie.
