Freaky math trick for your weekend amusement

Stole this gem right off Patricia's blog

1. get a calculator. unless you're rainmain, you won't be able to do this in your head. and if you can, well then laaa deee dahhh.

2. enter the first three digits of your phone number (NOT the area code)

3. multiply by 80

4. add 1

5. multiply by 250

6. add the last 4 digits of your phone number (all as one number like 7052)

7. add the last 4 digits of your phone number again

8. subtract 250

9. divide number by 2

Now didn't that just amaze you? Who sits around and thinks up this stuff anyway?
