Pictures of Andi and Jacob's new home

Look beyond the clutter, the tools, the boxes yet to be unpacked and let your imagination work.

Every door and window frame has
this wonderful moulding. This particular door is in the bedroom. You can see the bathroom in the background. I love this color of blue. It's very peaceful for the the bedroom. I'm thinking of buying the extra gallon to paint my bathroom.

Here is the bathroom. It's hard to tell, but you can sort of see the shower rod which we constructed out of plumbing pipes for less than 20 bucks as opposed to them buying one for over a hundred. They have a claw foot tub behind those curtains.

Here is the den/computer/library room.
This is Andi's favorite color of all the rooms. Here you will see the bookcase I have started building, but have yet to put the trim moulding on because we ran out of nails for the air gun and haven't gone to get more yet. I'll get that done this week. This did not stop them from loading it up and making it appear as if they might need another built for them sometime IN THE FUTURE LONG TIME FROM NOW.

This is the window seat in the living room. I love the navy color on these walls. This is my favorite room color. The moulding around the ceiling is what Zac and I put up one day in 5 rooms. Jacob's mom made the valances in this room and in the den/library/computer room. This room is huge even with all the furniture in it. I can imagine it will be a gathering place during holidays.

The picture to the right is the sun room. They have a table and chairs out there, along with a couch. I think this room will get quite a lot of use as a reading area. They are both big readers. Jacob's mom is buying laminate for them to put down in this room in exchange for them putting some down at her house.

Remember the picture of Andi sitting on the counter in the blah kitchen? Here it is with a fresh coat of goldenrod paint. They are either going to tile the floor or put down laminate. Decision yet to be made on that. The house has several areas of built in cabinets, such as this hallway above off the kitchen. The opposite wall is also built in cabinets and the door leading to the basement.

And finally, the outside of the house. When they took possession of the house 2 weeks ago, the outside was worn off white outside. Zac and his friend, Cory got busy and painted the house, foundation and trim in a week. The red thing is a porch swing, but it's a bit hard to see.
