Thanksgiving out of the ordinary

Once again COVID has changed our lives.  I actually had the virus and was quarantined for 2 weeks.  Totally alone, but just about daily my family and friends would leave me care packages of surprises on my porch. I was certainly blessed to just have a mild case. Charlene was also sick at the same time.  We don’t have any idea where we were exposed to it, but considering we both got sick on the exact same day, I’m sure it was at the same time. Since we couldn’t be around our families, the two of us went to Florida and rented a condo on the beach.  We took our groceries and we ate in our room and we really just did nothing except play games for 6 days.  The ocean is always peaceful, so sitting on a balcony when the weather is 75 as opposed to home where they are expecting snow was not a bad way to recoup.
