Keegan's Christmas gift

Christmas 2017 is officially in the books for the grandkids. It has been a surprise months in the making. An overnight trip with our friends, Sarah and her son, Kane to go to the aquarium at Newport.  Keegan and I had a great time exploring.

We took our time at the exhibits and would choose the prettiest, the weirdest and the coolest from each exhibit. A lot of times the coolest and the weirdest were the same. Keegan got to pet stingrays (slimy), a shark (sandpaper), a crab and an anemone (very silky) and a starfish, which was surprisingly soft.

Kane had to be coerced into walking the rope bridge across the top of the open shark tank, but later, in the car declared that was his favorite part. His entire first trip to an aquarium was “awesome” and the addition of Kane and Sarah made our trip extra enjoyable.
