My friend, Teri X 9
So, my wonderful friend, Teri, sent me the following message today
"During my lunch about once a week I click on your blog. I realized a couple things...well technically a few.
1. I know why I love you so much
2. I'm not in it enough
3. You are down right crazy sometimes and I'm OK with that."
Of course you can't just ignore a message like that (or I can't) so I replied
"Why thank you. Not sure exactly what you are referring too but it's good to be loved. And I love you."
And then she tells me she was re-reading my "100 Things about me" post. So I had to go re-read it as well...and I realized she's right. There's some borderline craziness going on there.
Over the last few years, Teri and I have gotten closer than we ever were before our friend, Vicki moved away. Which is really surprising because at the time, it seemed that Vicki was all that held us together and I think we both thought that without Vicki here, we would just drift away from each other to that "Oh yeah, I used to hang out with her." status But not so. Instead, she has turned out to be like the younger, prettier, livelier sister I never had. And that's a good thing.
And so Teri, if you're counting (and I'm betting you are) - this would make blog post #10 where you are mentioned by name. Double digits, baby!
