Zac and Andie

I first met Andie April 25, 2005 ~~ 6 1/2 years ago. She and Zac have had their ups and downs like all couples who date. They have lived together and apart. Several times. They have had a child together. But they have decided to split up ~~ and they both seem to think it is for good this time.

I will have to say I didn't see this one coming. Other times I could tell they were unhappy, but since Benjamin was born, it seemed as if all was well. Obviously, not. Some things I would rather not blog about, but if this blog is supposed to be an accurate description of our family life and history, well, I can't just ignore that this is happening.

They are still working out the details of splitting up with a child involved. Andie came over today with Benjamin and we had a good visit and a nice long talk about things. I'm very blessed that she is a firm believer in the more people that love Benjamin, the better off he will be. And I know she knows I meant it when I told her she would always be welcome at our home.
